This afternoon (October 8), the rain lasted for more than 2 hours, causing hundreds of meters of flooding on National Highway 20, the section bordering Ninh Gia commune of Duc Trong district and Tam Bo commune of Di Linh district. Some locations were flooded 20-30cm deep, causing difficulties and traffic jams. Police were present to regulate and direct traffic.

Similarly, heavy rains caused water from the upstream of the De Le stream to rush and flow rapidly, submerging the residential area of ​​Hiep Hoa village, Ninh Gia commune (Duc Trong district). Many houses were flooded more than 1 meter deep and isolated. Many plants along the stream were damaged after being submerged in water.

In his house in Ninh Gia commune, Mr. Nguyen Van Chuc was sad with his belongings in disarray and flooded. According to Mr. Chuc, heavy rain caused the water from the stream to overflow quickly, and he had no time to react. The refrigerator, television, tables, chairs, motorbike, etc. were all submerged in water and damaged.

Faced with the above situation, Duc Trong and Di Linh districts mobilized many forces to the scene to support the people. At the same time, the authorities used life jackets and ropes to move people in the isolated area to other places and put up warning signs in dangerous areas.
