Localities strongly improve DDCI Index

Collectives with outstanding achievements in improving PAR INDEX, SIPAS, DDCI, DGT, DTI in 2024 received certificates of merit from the Provincial People's Committee.

According to the results of the announcement of the DDCI Index of the local block in 2024, Ha Long City is the leading locality with a total of 79.35 points; Hai Ha district is in second place with 79.12 points; Binh Lieu district is in third place with 78.88 points. The DDCI scores in 2024 of the localities in the province are not too different, all increasing compared to 2023, affirming that the reform momentum is being promoted in all localities.

In particular, Dam Ha, Hai Ha, and Tien Yen districts have higher scores than the remaining localities. Compared to 2023, the DDCI Index in 2024 of Dam Ha district increased from 53.52 points to 73.94 points; the DDCI Index in 2024 of Hai Ha district increased from 69.09 points to 79.12 points; the DDCI Index in 2024 of Tien Yen district increased from 62.86 points to 74.34 points.

DDCI Quang Ninh is not simply a ranking, but also a mechanism to promote localities to innovate and be creative in management and administration. The fact that the 2024 scores of all localities in the province increased shows the positive effect that DDCI brings, when each district, town, and city strives to improve service quality, accompanying businesses and investors.

According to the DDCI ranking of the local block in 2022, Dong Trieu City and Quang Yen Town are the 2 localities with the deepest decrease in scores, but in 2023 they made efforts to break through, and in 2024 Dong Trieu City and Quang Yen Town continued to maintain the pace of reform, increasing their scores significantly. The above success story continues to be extended and Dam Ha district can be considered a locality with many progressive reforms according to the DDCI results in 2024, in which both scores and rankings increased, from the bottom of the rankings in 2023 to 9th place in 2024.

The results of the Local DDCI Index over the years also show the message that no locality is in a “safe” position. The breakthrough in the DDCI rankings in 2024 is a clear demonstration of the spirit of innovation and determination to improve the investment and business environment of localities in the province.

Localities that have maintained high rankings for many years cannot be subjective when lower-ranked localities are rising strongly.
