Mr. Nguyen Minh Nhut, Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City, has just signed a decision to dismiss the Principal of Kim Dong Primary School.

The decision clearly states: "Remove Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Nhung, Principal of Kim Dong Primary School, from the position of Principal of Kim Dong Primary School. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Nhung is responsible for handing over all documents and related work to the Vice Principal of Kim Dong Primary School assigned to be in charge."

The decision to dismiss Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Nhung from the position of principal takes effect from the date of signing (today, January 30, 2024).

According to the decision on transferring civil servants No. 396/QD-UBND signed by Chairman of Binh Tan District People's Committee Nguyen Minh Nhut, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Nhung, teacher of Kim Dong Primary School, was transferred to Tan Tao Primary School to take up work. Specific tasks are assigned by the Principal of Tan Tao Primary School.

Salary and other benefits (if any) of Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Nhung will continue to be paid by the new unit according to the salary termination certificate of the old unit.

Previously, on December 11, 2023, Mr. Nguyen Minh Nhut signed a disciplinary decision against Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Nhung.

The above conclusion stated: "Disciplinary action in the form of a warning was taken against Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Nhung, Principal of Kim Dong Primary School, due to violations and shortcomings in her work and the Inspection Committee of Binh Tan District Party Committee has disciplined her in terms of the Party (according to Decision No. 103-QD/UBKTQU dated December 1, 2023). This Decision takes effect from the date of signing and replaces Decision No. 6573/QD-UBND dated September 6, 2023 of the Chairman of Binh Tan District People's Committee. The time spent on the old disciplinary decision will be deducted from the time spent on the new disciplinary decision".

In November 2023, as reported by Thanh Nien Newspaper, on November 21, 2023, the People's Committee of Binh Tan District responded to teachers' feedback on a number of existing issues and lack of transparency of the Principal of Kim Dong Primary School when organizing and implementing the work of evaluating and classifying professional standards for general education teachers at the end of the 2021-2022 school year.

And on September 6, 2023, the Chairman of Binh Tan District People's Committee signed Decision No. 6573 on disciplining the Principal of Kim Dong Primary School for financial and management violations, including not reducing teaching hours for teachers. The Chairman of Binh Tan District People's Committee decided to discipline Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Nhung with a reprimand.
