According to the leaders of the units, being satisfied with what has been achieved means being left behind in the current fierce competition. Therefore, the units must always innovate in many aspects.
Hope to meet good doctor, caring and gentle staff
After 10am, after completing the steps from registering for medical examination, entering the examination room, taking the test, getting the results, listening to the doctor read the results, Mr. NHT (residing in Tan Phong ward, Bien Hoa city) submitted the form to wait for payment of hospital fees at a hospital in Bien Hoa city. The hospital payment staff called Mr. T.'s name, said that the amount of money in his account was enough to pay the hospital fees and invited him to the pharmacy to receive the medicine and leave.
With a satisfied look, Mr. T. said: "After walking all morning, I finally met a lovely staff member."
Not only Mr. T. but all patients when entering the hospital want to meet good doctors, nurses, and staff who speak gently, politely, and do not get angry with patients.
At the working session with the Department of Health to listen to the situation of the organization and operation of the department after the recent organizational restructuring, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Son Hung assigned the Department of Health to summarize Resolution 34/2022/NQ-HDND dated December 10, 2022 of the Provincial People's Council regulating the support of medical human resources in Dong Nai province for the period 2023-2025. From there, assess the current situation and make appropriate proposals to help improve and attract high-quality human resources. On that basis, research, advise, and report to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and submission to the Provincial People's Council to continue to have policies regulating the support regime for medical human resources in the province.
Ms. D.TKD (residing in Long Binh ward, Bien Hoa city) shared: “We only go to the hospital occasionally, so we are not as familiar with the process of medical examination, treatment, payment of hospital fees, and taking medicine as the medical staff who do these tasks every day. Therefore, sometimes we do not do it properly or slowly. I just hope that the doctors and nurses will speak gently and give us detailed instructions.”
As someone who has examined and treated patients at many hospitals in and outside the province, Mr. MQT (residing in Trung Dung ward, Bien Hoa city) said that in the past, when there were few private hospitals, people mainly examined and treated at public hospitals. But now, the choices are more diverse. Many hospitals are spacious, clean, and the examination and treatment process is faster and more convenient. In particular, the service attitude of medical staff is also more pleasant.
Continuously improve the working environment
Two working groups from the Department of Health have recently surveyed the satisfaction of patients and medical staff at 25 hospitals and medical centers across the province. The results show that the satisfaction rate of patients and medical staff with the units has increased compared to previous years.
At Thong Nhat General Hospital, up to 97.9% of medical staff when asked felt satisfied with the following criteria: working environment, direct leadership, colleagues; internal regulations, salary, benefits; work, learning opportunities and promotion.
Specialist II Doctor Nguyen Thi Kim Loan, Deputy Director in charge of Thong Nhat General Hospital, said that to achieve the above results, we must mention the great efforts of the Board of Directors, leaders of departments, offices and the hospital staff. Everyone joins hands to build a green, clean and beautiful hospital environment. Each department and office is responsible for improving and enhancing the quality of medical examination and treatment, becoming a reliable address for patients to choose if they are unlucky enough to fall ill.
At Dong Nai Province Traditional Medicine Hospital, according to Hospital Director Phung Van Thanh, to ensure that medical staff can work with peace of mind, the hospital has implemented solutions to ensure income for staff, with Tet bonuses being higher each year than the previous year. In addition, the hospital has arranged gyms and sports grounds so that medical staff can have a healthy and useful playground.
According to the survey results of 2 working groups of the Department of Health, in addition to the achieved results, many medical staff hope that hospitals will increase on-call and procedural allowances in accordance with the efforts and expertise of the staff; maintain the bonus system; add more nurses and caregivers to ensure job requirements...
