This evening and tonight, in the North and Central regions, there will continue to be scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with rainfall from 20-40mm, some places over 90mm.

This afternoon and evening, the Central Highlands and the South will also have scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with rainfall from 15-30mm, some places over 70mm.

Notably, from tomorrow evening (June 24) to June 26, in the Northern and North Central regions, there is a possibility of moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, with some places having very heavy rain. The common rainfall is 70-150mm, with some places having over 250mm in the Northern region and 50-100mm, with some places having over 200mm in the North Central region.

The hydrometeorological station of the Northern Delta and Midlands also forecasts that due to the influence of the low pressure trough combined with the increasingly strong high-altitude wind convergence, this evening and tonight, Hanoi will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with heavy rain in some places; rainfall is generally 15-30mm, with some places over 50mm.

In particular, from tomorrow evening to the 26th, Hanoi will have moderate rain, some places will have heavy rain with thunderstorms, tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind; total rainfall will be 50-100mm, some places will be over 150mm.

In addition, from tonight to June 27, the Central Central region will also have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some heavy rain in the evening. From June 25, the Central Highlands and the South will have a tendency to decrease, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and at night.

The Meteorological Agency warns that thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong winds. Heavy rain and localized heavy rain can cause flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on steep slopes and flooding in low-lying areas.

In the Northern region, from Thanh Hoa to Binh Dinh, after the heavy rain above, from around June 28-29, there is a possibility of widespread heat waves.
