The North turns cold with showers

(Dan Tri) - In Hanoi, there will be rain and showers during the day and night of November 4, with cold weather, according to the forecast of the meteorological agency. The highest temperature in the area is 21-23 degrees Celsius, and at night it will turn cold with the lowest temperature of 18-20 degrees Celsius.

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said the cold air mass is continuing to move south.

It is forecasted that by the morning of November 4, this cold air mass will affect the Northeast, then affect the North Central, most places in the Northwest and some places in the Central Central. The Northeast wind inland will gradually strengthen to level 3, coastal areas level 4.

From November 4, the weather in the mountainous and midland areas of the Northeast will turn cold, then spread to the entire Northern and North Central regions.

The lowest temperature in this cold air mass in the North and North Central regions is generally from 17-19 degrees Celsius, in mountainous areas it is below 15 degrees Celsius.

Due to the influence of disturbances in the upper easterly wind zone combined with strengthening cold air, in the early morning of November 4, the area from Thanh Hoa to Quang Ngai had widespread heavy rain and thunderstorms. The Hydrometeorological Agency warned that heavy rain in the Central region is likely to last for many days to come, and people need to be on guard against high risks of flooding in low-lying areas; flash floods on small rivers and streams; and landslides on steep slopes.
