Marvel's Spider-Man 2 has an official release date

According to Neowin , the sequel to the Marvel's Spider-Man game has officially had a release date. Accordingly, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will come to PlayStation 5 (PS5) as an exclusive game on October 20. Fans will be able to pre-order the game starting June 16.

As revealed at the recent PlayStation Showcase event, the main storyline of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will have players take on the iconic Spider-Man roles of Peter Parker and Miles Morales at various points throughout the journey. With an open-world setting, players can switch between the two different heroes and explore the bustling locations of Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn.

Along with the release date announcement, Insomniac Games and Sony also revealed the costumes and mods for Marvel's Spider-Man 2. These add-ons give players plenty of options for character customization and enhanced content.

The standard edition of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 costs $69.99, while the Digital Deluxe edition, priced at $79.99, brings additional content such as pre-order incentives, 10 unique costumes (5 for Peter, 5 for Miles), Photo Mode frames and stickers, and 2 extra skill points.

For Spider-Man fans who love to collect, Sony is offering a Collector's Edition for $229.99, which comes with a Digital Deluxe voucher, a Steelbook case, and a 19-inch Venom statue.
