Not long ago, my father calculated with my wife and me that the pension and gifts for the two months of New Year and Lunar New Year were estimated at about 29,000 yuan (more than 100 million dong).

Yet now that he has retired and become a grandfather, my father continues to work. He currently serves as a consultant for the company, giving advice to people about business operations. But this job does not always require him to go to the office, so in his free time, he takes his motorbike to the alley entrance to drive a motorbike taxi.

My father's job used to make me very curious. Because this is the age when he can enjoy his old age with his children and grandchildren, without having to do any more work.

That's not all of my father's reasons. He added: "And most importantly, I want my children and grandchildren to understand the value of work. You see, in front of the children, I never talk about the position of director or money. I just want to be a normal grandfather in the eyes of the children."

After hearing what my father-in-law said, I was stunned by his sharp and wonderful thinking, always working tirelessly while still thinking about the future generation.

To be honest, I am a little jealous of my father-in-law. With a high pension, he does not have to worry about his life and can continue to develop his abilities while freely exploring new things. What a life everyone dreams of! But I also understand that it is the result of decades of hard work.

Maybe someone will say: "Who do you think you are to dream of such a life?" . Right! Before that life, there were days of constant pressure, highly competitive work, wanting to get promoted was not easy. However, I believe that luck always smiles on those who are prepared. My father-in-law never thought he would become a director, but he always maintained the spirit of learning and hard work. Finally, he achieved the success he has today.

But think carefully, instead of being jealous of other people's high salaries or pensions, consider the value you create for the business and society. Contribution will be rewarded - this saying is appropriate at all times. My father-in-law is an example.

So I have to work harder. Maybe, I can't achieve the same success as him, but I believe that I will have a better life, my children can also look at the efforts of their grandparents and parents to try harder in their studies and work.
