Speaking at the ceremony, President Vo Van Thuong praised and congratulated the outstanding results and achievements that the Party Committee, government and people of our province have achieved in recent years and emphasized that Nam Dinh is a land of "spiritual land and outstanding people" rich in historical traditions, patriotic culture and revolution. This place has produced many historical figures, talented people, famous generals, famous people and many revolutionary veterans, outstanding leaders of the Party and State. Entering the period of innovation, the Party Committee and people of Nam Dinh have been dynamic and creative, achieving many great achievements. The economic growth rate of the province is higher than the national average. The cultural and social fields have been cared for, social security has been ensured. The work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system has achieved many important results.
The 60th anniversary of Uncle Ho's visit is an opportunity for Nam Dinh to review, deeply remember Uncle Ho's teachings and be proud of the glorious historical tradition of the Party Committee, government and people of the province, thereby consolidating the firm belief and determination to strive to build Nam Dinh into a prosperous province in accordance with Uncle Ho's wishes. Delivering the speech at the commemoration ceremony, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Pham Gia Tuc reviewed the events of Uncle Ho's visit to Nam Dinh, especially the 5th time in 1963, which was also the last time Uncle Ho visited the Party Committee and the people of our province, and emphasized: Keeping in mind the teachings of beloved Uncle Ho, over the past 60 years, the Party Committee and people of Nam Dinh have always strived to promote patriotic emulation movements, successfully carrying out all revolutionary tasks in each revolutionary period. In 2022, the province's economy continued to develop, with some indicators increasing. In particular, the National Target Program on New Rural Construction achieved many outstanding results. Nam Dinh is one of the first two provinces in the country to reach the New Rural Finish Line. The cultural and social fields have received attention and continued to achieve many new achievements. The Education and Training sector has been in the Top of the country in terms of education quality for nearly 30 consecutive years. Many tangible and intangible cultural heritages have been recognized as national monuments. Social security is ensured; the material and spiritual life of the people continues to improve.
National defense, political security, and social order and safety have always been maintained. The work of building the Party and the political system has been increasingly consolidated, innovated, and disciplined; the implementation of Resolution 4 of the Central Committee (term XII, term XIII) on building and rectifying the Party and the political system has been associated with the implementation of Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW "On continuing to implement Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Politburo on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and lifestyle", and Regulation 08-QDi/TW on the exemplary responsibility of cadres and party members has gone into depth, creating a strong spread in the working style and efficiency of each cadre and party member.
