More videos and detailed photos of Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra revealed

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, Samsung's flagship S-series phone, is expected to launch early next year. Up to this point, quite a lot of information about the design and chip inside this smartphone has been revealed. From the images revealed so far, it can be speculated that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will have a more square case and flat edges.

But a recent video posted on Reddit gives us an even more comprehensive look at the highly anticipated phone. Redditor shared a leaked video of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, giving us a clear look at the design changes. The Reddit account has since been deleted, possibly because the person wanted to remain anonymous.

The post was shared with a humorous caption that the device is "definitely" the Galaxy S24 Ultra, but from the rounded corners and different design, it can be confirmed that this is the Galaxy S25 Ultra, with rounded corners and flatter edges.

It's not clear if this is an early production model or a prototype, but it's safe to say that with its flat edges and shiny metal, the device is taking cues from the iPhone 16 or Google Pixel 9.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra is said to be thinner, to compete with the iPhone 17 Pro models, which will launch in September 2025. This time, Samsung will use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite series chips, with the performance difference compared to the A18 Pro likely to be minimal. The smartphone is also expected to have 12GB of RAM for the base variant, while the higher-end models may come with higher RAM amounts.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra is also said to have a 6.8-inch AMOLED display, which is slightly smaller than the iPhone 16 Pro models. It will also come with Android 15 out of the box. Samsung is also switching to a Titanium finish, which is quite similar to the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro models.

In addition to the video above, Android Authority has indirectly contacted the poster and has some more photos of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, including the location of the S Pen as well as screenshots of One UI 7 on the same device.

The previous video clip didn’t show the bottom of the phone. In the image above, we can see the other half: the USB-C port, SIM slot, speaker, and S Pen. The right one shows the device plugged in to charge, with a new One UI 7 notification display.
