Meritorious Artist Phi Dieu performs Ao Dai by designer Ta Linh Nhan
At the age of 91, artist Phi Dieu still maintains her elegant demeanor. She enthusiastically strode down the catwalk in a colorful ao dai.
Speaking about this appearance, artist Phi Dieu said that up until now, she rarely accepted invitations to perform in fashion shows. However, with the enthusiastic cheers of the audience, she was more confident to complete the show.
Regarding the fact that she is still working hard at the age of 91, artist Phi Dieu admits that she is an active person who does not want to sit still. Therefore, she actively participates in programs to find joy. "I am also conscious of exercising to stay healthy and ensure my work schedule. I exercise from 15 minutes to half an hour" - she said.
She is not afraid to stand next to models and beauty queens.
The familiar image of artist Phi Dieu at the age of 91 is a strong old lady, riding her motorbike to the film set. Her children and many people have advised her to travel by public transport to avoid danger, but she does not want to because she "likes the feeling of being in control of her own time and practicing reflexes".
Talking about her wish at the age of U100, the female artist confided that she just hopes to have a lot of health so that she can "do whatever she can, without wasting time". She said: "I have no rest in my life, so my children are used to this. A few times I had car accidents, my children also gave me advice and reminded me to be more careful".
91 years old, she still works hard
The collection "Silk through the heritage land" by designer Ta Linh Nhan left many impressions. On the simple white ao dai, the designer skillfully incorporated the image of lotus flowers processed by hand in 3D, combined with images of Hoi An ancient town, Ha Long bay, My Son temple tower... or intangible heritages such as ca tru, don ca tai tu...
Through the collection, designer Ta Linh Nhan hopes to elevate the Ao Dai, so that every Vietnamese person can appreciate, preserve and spread the love of Ao Dai to everyone.
