The Saint Tran's salary distribution ceremony is held annually to commemorate the great contributions of the national hero, the Grand Duke and Commander-in-Chief of Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan. The festival is held right at the temple - the place that Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan chose as one of the six granaries, providing food for the army in the resistance wars against the Yuan-Mongol invaders in the 13th century.
