NDO - On the afternoon of June 12, the Ministry of Public Security announced: Leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Dak Lak province and the provincial police visited and paid their respects to the commune police officers who died or were injured while on duty at the headquarters and the commune officers and people who died in the incident in Cu Kuin district.
Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security chaired a meeting with units to ensure security and order in Dak Lak province.
Leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, leaders of Dak Lak province and the provincial police visited and paid their respects to the commune police officers who died or were injured while on duty at the headquarters and the commune officers and people who died in the incident in Cu Kuin district.
As reported, in the early morning of June 11, a group of people on motorbikes used guns and other dangerous weapons to attack and destroy the People's Committee headquarters and the police offices of Ea Tieu and Ea Ktur communes, Cu Kuin district, Dak Lak province. As a result, 4 commune police officers were sacrificed; 2 commune officers, 3 civilians were killed and 2 commune police officers were seriously injured.
Immediately after the incident, under the direction of the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, the Provincial Party Committee and the People's Committee of Dak Lak province, the leaders of the Provincial Police directed the functional forces to urgently coordinate to both organize verification, investigation, and arrest the subjects, and overcome the consequences of the incident to stabilize the security and order situation in the area.
Deputy Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang, along with provincial leaders and Dak Lak Provincial Police, visited and paid tribute to commune police officers who died or were injured while on duty.
The delegations of the Ministry of Public Security, leaders of Dak Lak province and the provincial police, along with the authorities, departments, branches and organizations in Cu Kuin district, Ea Tieu and Ea Ktur communes visited and paid their respects to the communal police officers who died or were injured while on duty at the headquarters and the communal officers and people who died in the incident in Cu Kuin district. At the same time, they expressed their deepest condolences and grief for the pain and loss of the relatives and families of the four communal police officers who died and the relatives and families of the two communal officers and three people who died.
Leaders, departments, branches and organizations have encouraged the spirit and provided material support to the families and injured comrades to help them soon stabilize their lives and recover their health.
The leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, the provincial leaders and the Dak Lak Provincial Police have been directing the functional departments to urgently carry out procedures to recognize the martyrs for the 4 sacrificed commune police officers, provide war invalids for the 2 injured commune police officers and properly implement policies for the deceased commune officials and people according to regulations.
