During a business trip to Truong Sa with the Naval Region 4 Command, I had the opportunity to meet and talk with many teachers. The presence of these teachers is also a testament to the steadfast love and attachment of the mainland towards the sea and islands of the homeland. In the spirit of all for the beloved students, 2 years ago, Mr. Cao Van Truyen volunteered to go to Truong Sa to teach. On the island, Mr. Truyen was assigned to be in charge of the preschool section of Truong Sa Town Primary School. Sharing with us, Mr. Truyen said that the teaching conditions in Truong Sa are not as good as on the mainland, but with the attention of leaders at all levels and local authorities, the children have the best learning conditions, the teaching conditions have also met the requirements and are constantly being improved.

Along with Mr. Truyen, at Truong Sa Town Primary School, there is also Mr. Nguyen Van Hanh. Mr. Hanh is in charge of the primary school. “Although it is a remote island, teaching and learning on the island always follows the curriculum of the Ministry of Education and Training. Here, the children are all well-behaved, teachers and students are very close, working together in teaching and learning. The children's diligence and progress are the motivation and joy for the teachers on the island to strive to overcome difficulties and complete their assigned tasks well,” Mr. Hanh shared.

Truong Nguyen Trieu Vy - a 4th grader in Truong Sa town happily showed us the lessons praising Vietnam's seas and islands that her teacher prepared for her every time she went to class, as well as her homework. Vy said that every day she went to school, studying with her teacher and other friends on the island, she was very happy. Meanwhile, Le Thi Minh Dieu - a resident of Truong Sa town shared that the lives of the islanders are currently stable. Although the learning conditions are different from the mainland, with the dedication and enthusiasm of the teachers helping the children to be good and progress in their studies, all the families on the island feel very secure.

On Da Tay Island, over the years, Mr. Ung Van Tuan has become a familiar member of the cadres, soldiers and people working, living and studying on the island. Mr. Tuan is one of the young teachers in Truong Sa. Talking to us, Mr. Tuan expressed his pride when he had the opportunity to "sow letters" to the children on the island district at the forefront of the Fatherland. "With affection, responsibility and youthful enthusiasm, I will use all my strength and knowledge to teach the children, so that when they return to the mainland to continue studying in higher classes, they will always be confident and not be inferior to their peers" - Mr. Tuan shared.
Lieutenant Colonel Can Ngoc Son - Commander and Chairman of the People's Committee of Truong Sa town affirmed that due to its characteristics, the teaching and learning conditions in Truong Sa will also be different from those on the mainland. However, with the spirit of overcoming difficulties, teachers and students on the island have achieved many achievements in teaching and learning. The content of the lesson plans always closely follows the program of the Ministry of Education and Training, and through summarizing the regular school years, they are highly appreciated by superiors. In Truong Sa town, the Party Committee, government, army and people of the town will continue to prioritize both material and spiritual resources to take care of the children to have the best learning environment, all for the future generations of Truong Sa and the country.
