Quang Nam agarwood tea is a new product entering the market. This product is produced by Green Herbs Cooperative (Tam Hiep Commune, Nui Thanh).

Mr. Nguyen Van Trung - Co-founder of the Cooperative said that from medical documents and traditional medicine, he created the Quang Nam agarwood tea product line as a precious herb to protect the health of users. The product includes agarwood powder, cordyceps, ginseng, red apples, etc.

After being present in the Quang Nam market since July, the product has now been present in many southern provinces and cities such as Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Can Tho...

“Agarwood is the pride of Quang Nam. I researched and combined traditional medicinal values ​​and invested in modern technology to create quality agarwood tea with beautiful labels and packaging, especially traceability of origin. Through that, I strive to expand the product consumption market,” said Mr. Trung.

Presenting goods at most Vietnamese goods fairs in the province and participating in local specialty sales channels are ways many businesses and cooperatives use to gain market share.

From there, suitable products are produced to meet each segment that the market needs. To spread goods on the market, the cooperative applies marketing, introduces and widely promotes goods.

Dried Pho - a typical product of Huong Hue Thang Binh Cooperative was recently recognized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade as a typical rural industrial product in the Central Highlands region in 2024. Dried Pho is made from 100% rice, absolutely no borax or chemicals are used for bleaching, so the pho noodles are always chewy, chewy and delicious.

Huong Hue dried pho is trusted by users thanks to its quality products and reasonable prices. The closed production process of dried pho from raw materials to packaging is strictly inspected to ensure food safety standards.

This year 2024 marks the 15th anniversary of the Politburo launching the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods". The widespread implementation of the campaign by functional sectors in the province has created a change in the consumer awareness of Quang Nam people. Currently, the proportion of Vietnamese goods accounts for 80-90% in modern distribution channels and more than 60% in traditional retail channels, showing that goods are widely accepted by Quang Nam consumers.

Many people said that in the past, they often had the habit of choosing imported products, from household appliances, fashion to machinery and equipment in the family. In recent years, they have seen that Quang Nam and domestic goods have improved in design, quality and reasonable prices, so they have trusted and chosen them.

In recent times, localities in the province have actively introduced and supported cooperatives and enterprises to participate in trade programs, connecting supply and demand, promoting and consuming goods.

As in Thang Binh district, the district's industry and trade sector has stepped up support for businesses, cooperatives, and production facilities to access industrial promotion capital from the district and province to invest in advanced machinery and production equipment, improving productivity, output, and quality of goods.

Mr. Vo Van Hung - Chairman of the People's Committee of Thang Binh district said that the locality continues to support producers of OCOP goods and rural industrial goods to expand their scale, open up the market, and improve economic efficiency.

The highlight in implementing the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" in the district is to expand and continue to encourage enterprises and cooperatives to link up to create a chain of production, processing and consumption of goods.

Mr. Le Vu Thuong - Director of the Department of Industry and Trade said that the unit will continue to support cooperatives and production facilities in building product brands; support product introduction on e-commerce platforms. The functional sector protects the domestic goods distribution market; builds and protects product brands, and protects consumer rights.

According to Mr. Thuong, supermarkets and convenience stores need to regularly organize promotional and customer appreciation programs to attract consumers to prioritize using Vietnamese products.

According to Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Le Tri Thanh, in order to continue promoting and developing the achievements of the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", the Provincial Front coordinates with departments, branches, associations and organizations to link the campaign with patriotic emulation movements; promote and bring Quang Nam goods to the countryside; widely introduce typical products, OCOP products, monitor and detect violations of product quality and services to protect consumers.
