Ms. Ariadne Feo Labrada highly appreciated the development orientation of Binh Duong and said that the Mariel Special Development Zone (ZED Mariel) is an important project of Cuba to attract foreign investment and promote the economic development of this island nation. ZED Mariel focuses on industries such as manufacturing, food processing, information technology, electronics, automobiles, pharmaceuticals and renewable energy. These fields are expected to contribute greatly to Cuba's economic development in the future. Enterprises operating in ZED Mariel enjoy tax incentives such as corporate income tax reduction, long-term exemption of import and export taxes. ZED Mariel also provides a modern infrastructure with factories, warehouses and state-of-the-art logistics services, facilitating production and trade activities.
