On November 23, information from Tuyen Quang High School for the Gifted said that a student of the school had just achieved high results in the standardized SAT assessment test.
The person who achieved the above result is Le Quang Huy - a 12th grade English student who excellently achieved 1560/1600 SAT points.
The SAT is a standardized test widely used for college admissions in the US education system and many universities around the world.
The SAT consists of two parts: Reading and Math, each with two modules of increasing difficulty. The test is taken on a computer, and takes approximately 2.5 hours to complete, with a 20-minute break between sections.
The maximum score on the SAT is 1,600.
On the first try, Quang Huy scored 770/800 points in the Reading section and 790/800 points in the Math section.
According to the organizer's assessment, only about 1% of candidates worldwide achieve the same score as Quang Huy.
To do that, since he was young, Quang Huy has been interested in English and is very good at English.
Quang Huy achieved excellent results in the Provincial 9th Grade Excellent Student Selection Exam; achieved many high achievements in English speaking competitions and English Talent Olympics.
