Attending the program were representatives of the Propaganda Department of the Vietnam Women's Union (VWU); leaders of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Record Association - Vietnam Record Organization (VietKings).
On the Hanoi side, there were Bui Huyen Mai, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Secretary of Thanh Xuan District Party Committee; leaders of the Hanoi Women's Union; and representatives of departments, branches, sectors, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations of the city.
This event is held on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024) and to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union and Vietnamese Women's Day October 20.
Speaking at the program, Chairwoman of the Hanoi Women's Union Le Kim Anh said that, aiming to build women in the capital to develop comprehensively, with knowledge, morality, health, and responsibility for themselves, their families, society, and the country, the mass sports and folk dance movement among cadres and members of the capital's women's union has developed strongly in recent times.
From Thanh Xuan Park and communes, wards and towns across the city, folk dance performances took place to the music of 3 songs: "Hanoi People - Marching to Hanoi - Hanoi's constructions".
The program has the participation of more than 70,000 women in the capital. With both strong and cheerful movements, performed by women of all ages in traditional ao dai, the program is a very meaningful activity, expressing love and pride for the capital with a thousand years of heroic culture, while affirming the spirit of solidarity, beauty and strength of women in the capital;
At the same time, the folk dance performance is also a message of love for peace, aspiration to rise up, contributing to building a civilized, modern and cultural capital, building the women's movement and the Women's Union to become stronger.
The President of the City Women's Union expressed her belief that the program will strongly inspire everyone, continue to promote the folk dance movement to become a regular activity in the community; contribute to enriching the cultural and spiritual life of women and people of the Capital.

To have this impressive performance, more than 70 thousand women in the capital city in 579 communes, wards and towns had months of careful preparation, full of enthusiasm and hard work.
