The tough challenges, valuable experiences and opportunities to compete with young talents from all over the country have created the Green Voice season 1 champions who are confident, courageous and ready to bring green ideas to life.

It was a memorable journey and also the starting point for season 2, where the new generation of "green warriors" continue to conquer the top.

The secret to winning the championship

In the recent livestream introducing "Green Voice" season 2, the two champions of season 1 - LifeSphere and Nam Cao - shared valuable lessons and secrets for the contestants who are preparing to enter the race.

LifeSphere Team, consisting of Pham Bang An (Foreign Language High School, Hanoi) and Nguyen Tran Minh Khue (Chu Van An High School, Hanoi), won the English category with the initiative "Nano-Pods - Innovative Solution" - a green mobile clinic model. Minh Khue said that the team's secret lies in carefully researching the topic, building a detailed plan and coordinating smoothly among members. "We not only focus on the content but also practice planning skills to convey information in the most convincing way," Khue said.

However, success did not come easily. Bang An shared, "Heavy debates are inevitable, but we learned to listen and respect our teammates' opinions. From there, the team was able to find the best ideas."

The Nam Cao team won first prize in the Vietnamese category.

In the Vietnamese section, Nam Cao team shined thanks to their strong interaction with the audience. Member Ngo Tri Dung revealed: "Confidence is the core factor. When you believe in what you say, others will be easily convinced. We create connections with rhetorical questions and close examples, attracting the audience's attention right from the start."

Both teams affirmed that knowledge is important, but the decisive factor for victory lies in teamwork, confidence and an engaging presentation style. In addition, the ability to face pressure. "During the competition, you may encounter many difficulties, especially when you have to balance between studying, daily life and competition activities," shared LifeSphere member Bang An, "Don't be discouraged and always be persistent and determined in what you are pursuing."

Opportunity to spread green lifestyle

After being honored at the Green Voice contest season 1, the champions not only took home prizes but also received support to turn their ideas into reality.

Two members of the Nam Cao team have received many opportunities to develop and connect with the community. Tri Dung shared that he is nurturing a project aimed at connecting environmental protection clubs in the Vinschool system, inspired by the good culture of countries such as Japan and Germany, where environmental protection awareness has been formed very early.

"I want to expand and develop activities such as picking up trash on Saturdays and Sundays, assigning cleaning schedules to each area, turning it into a larger movement with strong influence. The goal is to create a common awareness of environmental protection, not only for Vinschool students but also for the whole community, to contribute to building a greener Vietnam in the future," Tri Dung shared.

At the livestream introducing "Green Voice" season 2 on October 20, Bang An shared about new opportunities after participating in the competition.

The remaining member of Nam Cao, Do Phuc Nhat Minh, said that the 100% scholarship from VinUniversity not only helps shorten the journey to the university of his dreams but also opens up opportunities to pursue his passion for grocery business selling household goods associated with environmental protection. Thanks to the reduction of financial pressure, Minh has more time to research and develop sustainable business models.

"I focus on providing environmentally friendly household products, using recycled packaging and encouraging customers to choose products that are beneficial to both health and the environment. Through that, I hope to contribute to promoting the trend of green and sustainable business," Nhat Minh excitedly said.

Sharing with the contestants of season 2, both winning teams believe that through the competition, green ideas and actions will be widely spread, contributing to changing awareness and promoting a more sustainable lifestyle in society. This will certainly be a source of inspiration to help the contestants have more motivation to conquer the championship this season.

The Green Voice debate contest is a project under the Green Education program and is part of the Cooperation Agreement between the Ministry of Education and Training and the Green Future Fund - Vingroup Corporation signed on October 6, 2023.

The contest is one of many specific activities of the Green Future Fund - Vingroup Corporation to raise public awareness and promote society to join hands to act for a better future for everyone.
