It is known that the Make in Vietnam spirit has been responded to by the business community not only in the digital technology field but has created a positive effect in all other industries and fields; the business community and businesses have changed their thinking, creative orientation, and produced quality Vietnamese products for the domestic market and global orientation. Make in Vietnam digital technology products have been welcomed by Vietnamese consumers and have entered foreign markets.

Particularly in the digital technology sector, businesses are growing stronger and playing a key role in the economy. In 2024, the total revenue of the digital technology industry is estimated to reach 157.984 billion USD, an increase of 10.20% (compared to 2023), Average growth in the period: 9.95%; Vietnam's value in total revenue of the digital technology industry reaches 31.8%, up from 21.35% in 2019; Total number of employees reaches 1.67 million people, an increase of 67% compared to 2019; The whole industry has 73,788 operating enterprises, an increase of 10.12% (compared to 2023).

Currently, Vietnam has many world-leading technology rankings such as: Our country ranks 2nd in the world in exporting smart mobile phones; 5th in the world in exporting computer components; 6th in the world in exporting computer equipment; 8th in the world in electronic components; 7th in the world in software outsourcing.

The world is entering a competition, racing to master digital technology, master the digital transformation process to build a digital economy, digital society, digital citizens. This is the desired goal of developed countries and also an opportunity for countries like Vietnam to step into the same starting line to compete on par with advanced countries in the world.

The Party and State have identified that mastering digital technologies is considered an important foundation for Vietnam to "take off" and develop strongly. The goal of mastering digital technologies has been and is being focused on by Vietnamese technology corporations in investing in research and creating specific digital technology products. Only by mastering digital technologies can Vietnam create a highly developed digital economy, contributing to building a society for the future. To achieve the goal of becoming an upper-middle-income country by 2030 when our Party turns 100 and becoming a developed country by 2045, Vietnam must rely on digital technology and Vietnamese digital technology enterprises for development.
