In 2016 - the time of implementing Resolution No. 09-NQ/TU of the Provincial Party Committee (term XIII) on tourism development to 2020, there were more than 4.5 million visitors coming to visit, relax and entertain at the province's tourist areas, including about 500,000 international visitors, tourism revenue reached 8,700 billion VND, an increase of 18% compared to 2015. In 2023, inter-regional transport infrastructure will develop synchronously when the North-South expressway opens, creating momentum for tourism to "take off", tourism revenue is estimated at 11,348 billion VND, an increase of 2.52 times compared to the same period in 2022.
This forecasts that Binh Thuan tourism will continue to grow as Binh Thuan strives to renew itself by urban renovation, paying attention to environmental sanitation, creating conditions for investment in the tourism sector... Along with that, focusing on programs to stimulate domestic and foreign tourism. Notably, recently, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to preside over and coordinate with agencies, organizations, businesses, and communities to launch the program "Vietnamese people travel to Vietnam - Vietnam I love" in the spirit of the Prime Minister's direction to develop comprehensive, fast, and sustainable tourism with the motto "Unique products - Professional services - Convenient and simple procedures - Competitive prices - Clean and beautiful environment - Safe, civilized and friendly destinations". In addition, tourist establishments in the province, especially high-end accommodations in Ham Tien and Mui Ne (Phan Thiet City), have launched many tourism stimulus packages such as organizing entertainment services to attract domestic visitors.

In addition, focus on stimulating tourism demand for international visitors in many forms such as in addition to promoting on domestic and foreign media through travel agencies and international tourism fairs, it also welcomes international Farmtrip groups. Recently, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan province organized a meeting and exchange with an international Farmtrip group. This is not the first time the locality has welcomed them, but has done so many years before. Typically, in September 2015, the Binh Thuan Tourism Association worked and exchanged with an international Farmtrip group including travel agencies, tourism companies and reporters from countries such as Russia, England, India, Korea... Ms. Linda Kavanagh of the US Montecito Village Company, when she first came to Binh Thuan to survey, was surprised by the tourism potential of Binh Thuan. She commented that Binh Thuan is a quite ideal destination suitable for many types of visitors. After that, she planned to bring visitors to Mui Ne. In 2016, another international Farmtrip delegation also came to survey and learn about tourism products. The delegation visited and experienced tourism products at some famous tourist destinations such as: Mui Ne flying sand dunes, Ta Cu tourist area, Po Sah Inu Cham tower relic in Phan Thiet, Sealinks City wine castle and golf course...
Almost every time they come, the locality is very interested in creating conditions for the delegation to learn and survey. Because, this is an opportunity for tourism businesses to promote and introduce products to a large number of tourists - "buyers and propagandists" in the most positive way. Thanks to that, the image of Binh Thuan tourism has also spread further. In addition, in addition to stimulating domestic and international tourism, Binh Thuan also focuses on mobilizing, encouraging, guiding and urging tourism service businesses in the area to ensure the quality of services for tourists. Along with that, the locality builds unique tourism products that can attract and leave an impression on tourists about the destination, thereby attracting more visitors to come back.
