The Phuong Dong urban area attracts tourists.

The Phuong Dong urban area is still a popular choice for many tourists visiting Van Don. It boasts beautiful beaches, unique and picturesque landscapes, and a diverse range of vibrant tourism and entertainment services.

The Phuong Dong urban area integrates many high-class tourism and resort amenities.

Spanning an area of 171.42 hectares, embracing Bai Tu Long Bay, Phuong Dong Urban Area integrates many high-class tourism and resort amenities, such as: a 3km long white sand beach, a musical fountain square, an infinity pool, a children's water park, a beach stage, a food street, beachfront restaurants, a gym & spa, a 4-star hotel… The total investment for the urban area project is over 2,100 billion VND. The urban area is located right on Provincial Road 334, in the heart of Van Don Economic Zone, in Dong Xa commune. From here, it only takes 20 minutes to travel to Van Don International Airport.

Our first impression upon arriving at the urban area was the expansive 2,500m² beach stage ^. Equipped with a modern LED screen system and offshore platforms, this is also the venue for a series of large-scale music , sports, cultural, and culinary events in Van Don on special occasions, such as the opening of the summer tourism season, New Year's celebrations, and major holidays.

Another highlight of the Phuong Dong Urban Area is the rural market area. A spacious and airy space with many general stores and traditional food stalls, it delights many visitors. The rural market is particularly lively and bustling, with many special cultural and artistic programs on weekends.

Mr. Tran Tuan Anh, a tourist from Hanoi, shared: "Thanks to the expressway, traveling is quite easy and fast. It only took us 2.5 hours to get to Phuong Dong Urban Area. Here, I especially liked the traditional market area, which is elaborately decorated with materials and patterns that are rich in traditional colors..."

The Phuong Dong urban area also boasts a stunning beach with fine white sand and numerous limestone islands, a rarity found nowhere else. Since 2020, Phuong Dong beach has been recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as a standard tourist beach. The beach currently welcomes tourists free of charge. It is equipped with a high-powered lighting system, allowing visitors to enjoy swimming and recreation throughout all four seasons of the year.

Located in a bay, the beach boasts calm, clear water year-round, making it safe for all ages to swim. It's also an ideal spot to watch the sunset; explore the coastal promenade, admire the vibrant bougainvillea flowers, enjoy coffee on a boat, and visit the lighthouse…

During the holiday period from April 29th to May 3rd, approximately 20,000 visitors came to the area for sightseeing, accommodation, and relaxation, demonstrating the attractiveness of Phuong Dong Urban Area. The urban area is continuing to improve its infrastructure, creating a highlight for tourists visiting Van Don.

Previously, Van Don attracted tourists with its pristine natural beauty, but accommodation, entertainment, and recreational services were very limited. Now, the large-scale and modern Phuong Dong Van Don urban complex will "keep" tourists for at least two days to explore and experience all the amenities within the project. The Phuong Dong urban area is also a pioneering project in developing the night-time economy in Van Don.
