According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, from the evening of October 28 to October 29, the North and Northwest regions will experience moderate to heavy rain, with some places experiencing very heavy rain and thunderstorms, with rainfall ranging from 40-70mm, and over 100mm in some places.

Other places in the North and North Central regions will have showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy to very heavy rain with rainfall of 20-50mm, some places over 100mm.

From around early morning of October 30 to November 2, the North and Central Central regions are likely to experience widespread heavy rain.

In addition, the influence of cold air is weak, from October 29, the North will have cool weather, the Northern mountainous areas will have cold nights and mornings.

Warning of high tides along the Southeast coast, the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that at 1:00 a.m. on October 28, the highest water level recorded at Vung Tau marine station was 4.1m.

According to recorded wave monitoring data (satellite, ObsSHIP...), in the sea off the Southeast, the common wave height is 0.5-1m.

In the next 24 hours, wave heights in coastal waters in the Southeast region will generally be 0.5-1.5m. Coastal water levels in this area are likely to increase, with the highest height at Vung Tau station possibly reaching 4.15m. The highest water level at this station is likely to reach 4.15-4.2m in the next 24 to 48 hours.

Due to the influence of high tides, low-lying areas, riverside areas, and areas outside the dike in the coastal area of the Southeast region should be on guard against flooding in the early morning and afternoon, increasing the risk of saltwater intrusion on rivers.
