The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that this evening and tonight, cold air will affect many places in the North and Central regions.
According to the forecast, the Northern region will be cold from tonight, the mountainous regions of the North will be very cold, with some places experiencing severe cold, and the North Central region to Hue City will be cold from the night of February 3.
According to the hydro-meteorological agency, the lowest temperature during this cold air mass in the North and Thanh Hoa, Nghe An is generally 11-14 degrees Celsius, in the mountainous areas of the North 8-10 degrees Celsius, in the high mountainous areas below 6 degrees Celsius; and in the area from Ha Tinh to Hue, it is generally 15-18 degrees Celsius.
In Hanoi, from the night of February 2, the weather has been cold, the lowest temperature in this cold air mass in the capital is commonly 12-14 degrees Celsius.
According to the hydro-meteorological agency, due to the influence of cold air, in the coming days, the Northern and North Central regions will have scattered rain and showers; the Central Central region will have rain and showers, locally with moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms; high mountainous areas are likely to experience cold weather.
