Groundbreaking ceremony for building a charity house
On June 13, the Hung Yen City Military Command coordinated with sponsors to organize a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a house of gratitude for Ms. Hoang Thi Viet, the wife of a martyr, on Nam Thanh Street, Quang Trung Ward (Hung Yen City). Ms. Hoang Thi Viet's husband died in the resistance war against the US to save the country. She has no children and currently lives alone.

The house of gratitude given to Ms. Hoang Thi Viet is designed with a flat roof, with an area of about 40 m2. The total estimated construction cost is about 180 million VND. Of which, the support from the Military Command of Hung Yen City is 10 million VND, the Military Telecommunications Group Hung Yen Branch is 90 million VND, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank of the Army Hung Yen Branch is 10 million VND, the Joint Stock Insurance Corporation Hung Yen Branch is 10 million VND and the Women's Union of Hung Yen City (donating in-kind items worth 10 million VND), along with the family's funding... In addition to the above support funding, the units mobilized forces to contribute working days, together with the locality and family to survey, design and construct the project.
The project is expected to be completed and handed over in July 2023 on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2023).
