On October 18, at Bat Mot Border Guard Station, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Border Guard Command coordinated with construction units and local authorities to organize the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a patrol road from Bat Mot Border Guard Station to Duc and Vin villages, Bat Mot commune, Thuong Xuan district.

Attending the event were leaders of the Provincial Border Guard Command; Department of Planning and Investment and People's Committee of Thuong Xuan district.
The patrol road project from Bat Mot Border Post to Duc village, Vin village, Bat Mot commune has a total length of 12.28km. Of which, the main route is 8.2km long; the starting point intersects with National Highway 47; the end point connects with the concrete road in Duc village, Bat Mot commune. The branch route is 4.08km long, the starting point intersects with the main route in the center of Duc village, Bat Mot commune; the end point intersects with the border patrol road in Bat Mot commune.

The project has been approved by the Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee in Decision No. 2672/QD-UBND dated July 27, 2023. With a total investment of 120 billion VND, the capital source is from Thanh Hoa provincial budget, the construction period is planned from 2024 to 2027.
This is a project that not only strengthens national defense and security, but also has great significance for people's livelihood, creating favorable conditions for firmly protecting national border sovereignty and security, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of ethnic people in the area.
