On February 12, Dong Hung District General Hospital held the inauguration ceremony of the Medical Examination and Treatment Building, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day, contributing to improving the quality of medical examination, treatment and health care for the people.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony and the installation of a signboard to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Vietnam Doctors' Day, Master, Doctor Pham Tin Trung, Director of Dong Hung District General Hospital said: The medical examination and treatment building is invested with a modern scale, including 6 floors and 1 attic, with a construction area of ​​1,298.5m².

The project is equipped with a synchronous technical infrastructure system and advanced medical equipment such as elevators, air conditioning systems, oxygen, RO water, automatic sample transport systems and other supporting equipment.

The project's goal is to replace old construction items, while adding working space according to grade II hospital standards, improving the quality of medical services, and meeting the increasing medical examination and treatment needs of the community.

With a total investment of nearly 75 billion VND, the project started in November 2021 and was completed in July 2024, after more than 3 years of construction in harsh weather conditions and difficulties due to the pandemic. Despite many challenges, the project was still completed on schedule thanks to the strong direction of the provincial leaders, the close coordination between departments and branches and the continuous efforts of the contractors. The project has been put into use and has been inspected, tested for safety, ensuring high quality, becoming the pride of the Thai Binh health sector.

The new building not only meets all technical requirements but also provides a comfortable and modern medical examination and treatment space for the people. The clinics are fully equipped with medical equipment, serving departments such as Emergency, Diagnostic Imaging, Pediatrics, Pharmacy, General Surgery, and specialized departments such as Ophthalmology, ENT and Dentistry. This helps the hospital improve the quality of health care, effectively serving the medical examination and treatment needs of people in the area.
