(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 11, at Ho Chi Minh Square and Uncle Ho Statue, Ho Chi Minh Museum coordinated with Nghe An Provincial People's Committee and Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to organize the opening of the thematic exhibition "Ho Chi Minh - Portrait of a man".
Attending the opening ceremony were comrades: Professor, Doctor Hoang Chi Bao - former member of the Central Council for Literature and Arts Theory; Le Doan Hop - former Minister of Information and Communications, former Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee; Ho Xuan Hung - former Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, former Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee; Nong Quoc Thanh - Deputy Director of the Department of Cultural Heritage, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Vu Manh Ha - Director of Ho Chi Minh Museum; representatives of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City...

Before the opening ceremony, delegates offered flowers and paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his statue.
Speaking at the opening of the exhibition, comrade Tran Thi My Hanh - Director of the Department of Culture and Sports stated: The thematic exhibition "Ho Chi Minh - Portrait of a man" is a practical activity to celebrate the 133rd anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2023).

The exhibition brings together more than 200 paintings, photos and documents about President Ho Chi Minh, portraits of his life and revolutionary career.
The thematic exhibition “Ho Chi Minh - Portrait of a man” will be held from the opening day (May 11) to May 25.

On this occasion, the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City also announced the Automatic Interpretation Project and presented technological equipment to the Management Board of Ho Chi Minh Square and Uncle Ho Monument to better serve the propaganda and dissemination of Ho Chi Minh's cultural heritage in his homeland.
