Attending the opening ceremony were comrades: Chau Van Lam, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Tuyen Quang province; Le Thi Kim Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism; comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, leaders of the People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, National Assembly Delegation, departments, branches, sectors, organizations of the province, districts and cities.

Attending the opening ceremony were delegates from the provinces of Phu Tho, Thai Nguyen, Ha Giang, Yen Bai, Lang Son, Ninh Binh, Ho Chi Minh City, travel businesses and a large number of people and tourists from all over.

In his opening speech, Comrade Hoang Viet Phuong, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that Tuyen Quang is a land rich in revolutionary history and culture, where the cultural nuances of more than 22 ethnic groups in the northern mountainous region originate, converge and intermingle; and is endowed by nature with many unique and attractive landscapes.

Since then, Tuyen Quang has created favorable conditions for developing diverse types of tourism. Among them, Thanh Tuyen Festival - the largest Mid-Autumn Festival with many unique lantern models in Vietnam has become a prominent cultural event, with an international brand, an attractive destination, attracting the attention of a large number of people and domestic and foreign tourists.

2024 is the third year that Tuyen Quang province organizes the Tourism Year and also the third time to organize the International Hot Air Balloon Festival, with the participation of many countries around the world, creating a strong effect and spread, promoting the province's tourism to develop more and more, aiming to build the Tuyen Quang tourism brand "Safe, friendly, pristine and clean destination" . Tuyen Quang province will always accompany tourists and investors.

The opening ceremony held a special art program with the theme “Tuyen Quang – Shining heritage land” which was elaborately staged, with the participation of famous singers and artists, leaving many impressions on delegates, people and tourists. The works clearly showed the beautiful and majestic land of Tuyen Quang, rich in historical traditions and cultural identity of the community of 22 ethnic groups.

Tuyen Quang Tourism Year 2024 with the theme “Tuyen Quang – where beauty converges” opens a series of attractive cultural, sports and tourism events and activities throughout the year to welcome visitors. This is also an opportunity to connect the province’s cultural and tourism products with the whole country and internationally, creating a new step for tourism development in Tuyen Quang.
