Opening of Thanh Hoa Province Mass Arts Festival 2025

Attending the festival were comrades: Dao Xuan Yen, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; Dau Thanh Tung, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of leaders of departments, agencies, branches, and provincial-level organizations; districts, towns, and cities; artisans, actors, musicians, and a large number of people.

Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Vuong Thi Hai Yen delivered the opening speech of the festival.

The 2025 Thanh Hoa Provincial Mass Arts Festival brings together nearly 1,000 outstanding actors, artists, and musicians from 22 mass art troupes from districts, towns, and cities in the province. The performances at the festival feature the unique cultural features of traditional art forms of ethnic groups in the province.

At the opening ceremony, 10 units participated in the competition including: Quang Xuong District, Muong Lat, Thach Thanh, Nong Cong, Quan Son, Hau Loc, Ngoc Lac, Thanh Hoa City, Sam Son City and Bim Son Town.

The performances were invested in, elaborately and uniquely staged by the units, focusing on praising the Party, Uncle Ho, love for the homeland and country; the image of the heroic and resilient land and people of Thanh Hoa in the history of fighting against foreign invaders as well as in the current cause of innovation, integration and development; honoring and expressing gratitude for the great contributions of the army and people of Thanh Hoa in the cause of national liberation, building and defending the Fatherland.

The 2025 Thanh Hoa Provincial Mass Arts Festival is a cultural event in a series of important activities to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Ham Rong victory (April 3, 4, 1965 - April 3, 4, 2025), the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), towards welcoming the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term. Thereby, encouraging and motivating cadres, party members and people of all walks of life to strive, make efforts to overcome difficulties, successfully complete political goals and tasks in 2025 and compete to achieve achievements to celebrate the great national holiday.

The festival is an opportunity for artisans, actors, and musicians to meet, exchange and share experiences. This is also a useful playground, creating a source of inspiration for artisans, actors, and musicians to constantly create, perform and teach the cultural and artistic heritage of their ancestors to the next generation, contributing to preserving and promoting the fine traditional cultural values ​​of Thanh Hoa homeland. At the same time, it introduces and promotes the traditional cultural values ​​of ethnic groups in the province as well as the potential and strengths to develop tourism in Thanh Hoa.
