Opening of the 19th session of the 15th Provincial People's Council

On January 31, the 15th Provincial People's Council held its 19th session to consider and decide on issues under its authority. Attending the meeting were: Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Pham Quang Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Also attending were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Provincial People's Council Standing Committee, leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, leaders of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; delegates of the Provincial People's Council; leaders of a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors; Secretaries and Chairmen of the People's Committees of districts and cities.

Speaking at the opening of the session, Comrade Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, said: The 19th session of the Provincial People's Council is the first session of 2024, organized to promptly decide on urgent matters within its authority, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of the province.

At this session, the Provincial People's Council reviewed and discussed 9 draft resolutions on planning, economy, budget, approval of investment policies; approved the list of works and projects requiring land acquisition; the list of land use conversions for rice cultivation and protective forest land to implement works and projects in the province in 2024, the draft resolution on regulating prices of medical examination and treatment services not covered by the Health Insurance Fund in State medical examination and treatment facilities in the province and performing personnel work under its authority.

For the success of the session, Mr. Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, requested the delegates of the Provincial People's Council to uphold the spirit of responsibility, promote democracy, concentrate their intelligence, actively participate in discussions, and contribute opinions to the contents presented at the session, so that the resolutions of the Provincial People's Council are of good quality, soon put into practice, contributing to the completion of the socio-economic development goals of the province in 2024 and the following years, meeting the requirements and aspirations of voters and people in the province.
