Speaking at the opening ceremony, journalist Huynh Kien, Editor-in-Chief of Gia Lai Newspaper, Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial Journalists Association, informed: This year's Spring Newspaper Festival displays and introduces 250 types of Central Spring newspapers, 63 types of Spring newspapers from localities across the country and 30 types of newspapers and magazines from press agencies with resident reporters and representative offices located in Gia Lai province with a total of over 1,000 copies. These are special issues that are carefully edited, have good and rich content, and are beautifully presented with high-quality articles and images.

Through the typical works displayed at the Press Festival, the public can visualize the whole picture of the press over the past year as well as the continuous growth and development of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press. The Giap Thin Spring Press Festival will serve readers from February 1 to February 19, 2024 at the Gia Lai Provincial Library (30 Pham Van Dong, Pleiku City).
Notably, at this year's Spring Newspaper Festival, there was also a "Green Banh Chung" Festival organized by the Pleiku City Youth Union, gathering 50 young people to experience making Banh Chung to give to poor children in Plei Op village (Pleiku City).
In addition, Pleiku Calligraphy Club also brought a joyful atmosphere to the Spring Newspaper Festival, attracting many students and the public to learn about Vietnamese calligraphy culture.
