Meanwhile, the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival in 2024 helped Lam Dong welcome 2 million visitors, with total revenue from tourism activities estimated at over 3,600 billion VND.
More than 453,000 visitors to Da Nang on Christmas and New Year 2025
This morning (January 2), the Department of Tourism of Da Nang city informed about the implementation of tourism activities in the city during the New Year 2025 (December 23, 2024 - January 1, 2025).
Accordingly, this year, Da Nang City will organize for the first time the Christmas - New Year Festival in Da Nang 2025, taking place for 20 days from (December 14, 2024 to January 2, 2025) with a series of unique and novel cultural, artistic, tourism and entertainment activities...
Along with that, the promotion work was carried out well, so it attracted tourists to Da Nang, especially the majority of international tourists were very excited to participate in experiencing events, festivals and watching the Dragon Bridge spraying water and fire. According to statistics, the total number of international and domestic flights to Da Nang from December 23, 2024 to January 1, 2025 reached 1,062 flights (up 9% over the same period) with more than 201,000 passengers (up nearly 19% over the same period in 2023). Of which, there were 602 domestic flights (up nearly 8% over the same period), with more than 103,000 passengers (up 19% over the same period) and 556 international flights (up 10.5% over the same period) with more than 98,000 passengers (up 18% over the same period). An average of 115 flights/day, with 60 domestic flights and 55 international flights.
The total number of visitors to Da Nang during Christmas and New Year 2025 will reach more than 453,000, an increase of 58% over the same period in 2024. Of which, international visitors will reach 263,000, an increase of 50% over the same period; domestic visitors will reach 190,000, an increase of 70% over the same period.
The total number of guests staying reached 245,000, an increase of more than 1.5 times over the same period in 2024; of which international visitors reached nearly 121,000, an increase of more than 1.9 times over the same period and domestic visitors reached 124,000, an increase of nearly 28% over the same period.
4-5 star and equivalent tourist accommodation establishments have an occupancy rate of 70%, an increase of nearly 20% over the same period, in particular, 4-5 star international branded beachfront hotels have an average occupancy rate of up to 90%; the peak season for guests is on December 24, 2024 and from December 30, 2024 to January 1, 2025, guests are mostly concentrated in tourist accommodation establishments, hotels, and coastal resorts, with international guests accounting for more than 80%. Tourist accommodation establishments with 3 stars or less have an occupancy rate of 40%, equivalent to the same period.

The Da Nang City Department of Tourism said that in order to ensure tourism activities comply with the law, during the Christmas and New Year 2025 holidays, the Department Inspectorate has coordinated with the City Police to inspect tour guide activities at tourist areas and attractions in the city.
Security, environmental sanitation, and rescue work at Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches are ensured. Tourism service establishments in the city have deployed security, environmental sanitation, food safety, and service to serve tourists during this holiday season.

More than 2 million visitors attended the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival
According to Mr. Pham S - Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, lasting for one month, the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival in 2024 will help Lam Dong welcome 2 million visitors, with total revenue from tourism activities estimated at over 3,600 billion VND.
In 2024, Lam Dong will welcome 10 million visitors (up 15.6% compared to 2023), including more than 600,000 international visitors (up 50%). Overnight visitors will be about 7.6 million (up 13.4%). Tourism revenue is estimated at about 18 trillion VND.
Despite welcoming millions of tourists, Lam Dong still ensures security, social order; traffic safety and food hygiene and safety. Many new valuable projects and products in various fields, many good initiatives and effective ways of doing things have appeared, spreading a spirit of emulation, creative labor and dedication throughout the province.
