Cho Gao District: Handing over 6 solidarity houses

Implementing the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, in recent times, localities in Cho Gao district have focused on reviewing and making a specific and detailed list of the number of houses that need support for new construction, repair, and cases that are still stuck. At the same time, research solutions to overcome the limitations proposed by the district to resolve and support the construction of houses to help households with difficult housing circumstances settle down, feel secure in developing their family economy and stabilize their lives.

(ABO) On April 4, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cho Gao district (Tien Giang province) held a handover ceremony of 6 solidarity houses to poor households with difficult housing circumstances.

Handing over houses to families.

The 6 houses were handed over to the following households: Ms. Le Thi Hoang, Luong Phu C hamlet, Luong Hoa Lac commune; Ms. Cao Thi Loc, Hoa Ninh hamlet, Hoa Tinh commune; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Trang, My An B hamlet and Mr. Nguyen Van Lam, An Khuong hamlet, both in My Tinh An commune; Ms. Nguyen Thi Muoi, Binh Phu Quoi hamlet, Dang Hung Phuoc commune; Ms. Nguyen Thi Rep, Tan Thanh hamlet, Xuan Dong commune.

Each house has an area of 40 ^m2 to 95 ^m2 , of which Tien Giang Petroleum Company supports 50 million VND/house through the Fund for the Poor of Tien Giang province, the rest is contributed by the family. At the house handover ceremony, representatives of the sponsoring unit and local authorities presented many gifts to help the families stabilize their lives.
