On the morning of February 21, the Hanoi Party Committee held a training conference on a number of digital transformation applications in Party agencies, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in the city.

The conference was held directly from the Hanoi Party Committee headquarters to all cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers of Party agencies, the Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations at 542 district, town, and city bridges with more than 5,000 delegates attending.
In his opening speech, Mr. Tran Thanh Ha, Chief of the Office of the City Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for Digital Transformation of Party agencies and mass organizations in Hanoi, said that the conference is one of the important activities to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TU dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation; Decision No. 204-QD/TU dated November 29, 2024 of the Secretariat approving the Digital Transformation Project in Party agencies.
At the same time, concretize Resolution No. 18-NQ/TU dated December 30, 2022 of the Hanoi Party Committee on digital transformation, building a smart Hanoi city by 2025, with a vision to 2030 and Directive No. 42-CT/TU dated January 23, 2025 of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee on continuing to promote digital transformation throughout the Hanoi Party Committee, building and developing a smart capital and effectively implementing the Digital Transformation Project in Party agencies.
Mr. Tran Thanh Ha emphasized that for Party agencies, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations, digital transformation plays a particularly important role. Thereby, it helps to improve leadership, direction, operation and management capacity, while strengthening the connection with the people, meeting the increasingly high requirements of the cause of building and developing the Capital.
At the working session of General Secretary To Lam with the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee in 2024, the city's leaders stated that, based on the experiences and initial results achieved in the past time, the Hanoi Party Committee will resolutely lead, direct and pioneer, and set an example in organizing and effectively implementing digital transformation work throughout the Party Committee, government and political organizations of the city.
To clearly demonstrate that determination, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, headed by the Secretary of the City Party Committee, immediately directed the development and promulgation of Directive No. 42-CT/TU dated January 23, 2025 of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee on continuing to promote digital transformation throughout the Hanoi Party Committee, building and developing a smart capital and effectively implementing the Digital Transformation Project in Party agencies.
At the same time, the decision was made to establish the Steering Committee of the City Party Committee on the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TU, headed by the Secretary of the City Party Committee. Along with that, the Steering Committee for Digital Transformation of the City Party Committee was established, headed by the Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee; and working groups were established to assist the Steering Committee of the City Party Committee.
In addition, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, directly the Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, has strongly directed agencies and units, directly the Office of the City Party Committee, to organize the development and implementation of many breakthrough digital transformation applications to effectively apply achievements of science and technology to management and operation.
"Today's training conference is one of the ways to concretize the content of this policy and guiding viewpoint," Mr. Tran Thanh Ha emphasized.
At the conference, delegates were introduced and deployed to use the expanded City Document Management and Administration Software for Party agencies, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at all levels of the city. At the same time, they were introduced to the Software for building work programs of the City Party Committee and Party committees at all levels; instructions on using the Virtual Assistant Software for Q&A of Documents and the Software to support examination and appraisal.
These are the prerequisite applications for building shared data in the Party and government agencies of the city to unify management, sharing and exploitation of common data towards integrating 3-level data throughout the city.
