According to The Verge , rumors of Apple entering the mixed reality headset market became a reality when the Apple Vision Pro was announced.
At its WWDC 2023 conference, Apple announced that in addition to offering features like VR FaceTime and widescreen movie viewing, the new Vision Pro will also be a gaming platform with a range of games from Apple Arcade.

At launch, there will be more than 100 Apple Arcade games available for the Vision Pro headset. The presentation didn’t specify which VR games will be available on the platform, but users will be able to play games like NBA 2K23 on the Vision Pro.
Additionally, Disney Plus streaming will also be available when Vision Pro launches early next year in the U.S. During the presentation, it was revealed that Disney shows and movies could be getting the X-Ray feature added to Amazon Prime.
While there weren't many standout features highlighted during the Vision Pro presentation, with the news that Hideo Kojima will bring Death Stranding Director's Cut to the Mac platform and Vision Pro will support Apple Arcade games, Apple users will still be able to experience Apple's rich gaming world, as well as play Death Stranding on Apple's powerful hardware.
