At the conference, delegates spent a lot of time giving comments on the draft Report on the situation and results of implementing the tasks of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, Party building, and the political system in 2024 and the draft Resolution on directions and tasks in 2025.
In 2024, the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Party Standing Committee focused on leading and directing the synchronous implementation of policies and solutions to effectively develop the economy, culture, society and ensure national defense and security in the area. The implementation of the Resolution on tasks for 2024 achieved positive results, with 12/16 main targets reaching and exceeding the set plan.

In general, the socio-economic situation of the province continues to develop. Although the economic growth rate has not met expectations and growth scenarios, the scale of the economy continues to maintain good growth momentum. Agricultural production continues to develop steadily, with good harvests and prices.
Total retail sales of goods and service revenue is estimated at VND 105,000 billion, equal to 105.2% of the plan, up 4.96% compared to 2023. Tourism activities have grown well, total revenue from tourism is estimated at VND 1,150 billion, up 11.1% over the same period; export turnover is 1,650 million USD, up 10.3%; import turnover is 500 million USD, up 41.1%. Total state budget revenue in the area is estimated at VND 8,500 billion, up 7.78% compared to 2023, equal to 100% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council and 121.43% of the estimate assigned by the Central Government.
Many cultural, festival and sports events took place enthusiastically, especially activities to celebrate the 120th anniversary of Dak Lak Province's founding (November 22, 1904 - November 22, 2024). Social security work, care for people with meritorious services, poverty reduction, elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses, etc. were given attention and implemented promptly. Political security and social order and safety were basically stable, national defense was strengthened, territorial sovereignty and border security were maintained.

The work of Party building and political system building continues to receive attention. As of November 8, 2024, the entire Provincial Party Committee has admitted 2,724 new Party members, bringing the total number of Party members to 89,173 comrades. The activities of the government, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations have increasingly changed positively. Tasks related to the preparation for organizing Party congresses at all levels towards the 18th Provincial Party Congress and the 14th National Party Congress have been deployed promptly and effectively...
In addition to the achieved results, the implementation of tasks still faces some limitations; business activities continue to face many difficulties; some key projects and works are slow to be implemented and put into use; low land use fee collection at the provincial level has affected the implementation of public investment projects using the provincial budget; grasping the situation, thoughts and aspirations of the people at times and in some places is not timely and not thorough; the security and order situation in some areas and fields is sometimes complicated.

Speaking at the Conference, Party Central Committee member and Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dinh Trung emphasized that 2025 is of special importance, being the final year of implementing the Resolution of the 17th Party Congress, term 2020-2025. Therefore, comrade Nguyen Dinh Trung suggested that in the coming time, all levels, sectors and localities focus on leading and directing the drastic and synchronous implementation of solutions to effectively deploy the set targets and tasks; continue to clearly identify and develop specific requirements and tasks for 2025, including reviewing and carefully evaluating the targets on economic growth, state budget revenue and administrative reform index in the area; continue to arrange and consolidate the organizational apparatus of the political system to be streamlined, effective and efficient; synchronously and effectively implement solutions to promote investment, production and business activities, and promote economic growth.
In addition, continue to pay more attention and give more priority to social security, job creation, hunger eradication and poverty reduction; mobilize and support resources, effectively implement the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses; continue to promote administrative reform and improve the province's competitiveness index; strengthen national defense and security, ensure political stability, social order and safety; prepare to effectively organize the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2025; celebrate the 50th anniversary of Buon Ma Thuot Victory, liberation of Dak Lak province (March 10, 1975 - March 10, 2025)...
Within the framework of the conference, delegates also discussed and gave opinions on the contents that the Party Executive Committee of the Provincial People's Committee requested opinions on and a number of other important contents and tasks.
