On the morning of July 20, representatives of the ASAHI Newspaper Association for the Promotion of Education and ISSHIN Japan Joint Stock Company visited and worked with the Yen Bai Provincial Association for the Promotion of Education and high schools in the province.
At the meeting, leaders of the Provincial Association for Promoting Education, the Department of Education and Training, representatives of high schools, representatives of the Association for Promoting Education, ASAHI Newspaper, and ISSHIN Japan Joint Stock Company had more detailed discussions about the ISSHIN - ASAHI Japan Study Abroad Scholarship Program.
The program is awarded by ASAHI Newspaper in collaboration with ISSHIN Japanese Language Training Center to high school students with aspirations for self-development and good academic and training results in several provinces of Vietnam, including Yen Bai.
This is a long-term training program, lasting many years, to contribute to the development of Vietnam. Scholarship recipients will be given the opportunity to study at Japanese language schools in major cities of Japan such as Tokyo, Yokohama, Chiba, etc.
During the study period, students are completely exempted from tuition and accommodation fees. In addition, they also have other benefits such as insurance, part-time jobs, support for transportation costs, Japanese language tuition fees, etc.
It is known that Yen Bai has 37 students from 5 high schools passing the preliminary round. In the coming time, they will continue to participate in 8 months of Japanese language training at ISSHIN Japanese Language Training Center before leaving for Japan.
ISSHIN – ASAHI Scholarship to Study in Japan is not only a financial support but also a door that opens new opportunities and diverse learning experiences for Yen Bai students. They will have the opportunity to come to Japan to enrich their knowledge and culture.
