Stockholm Design Fair 2025 brings together more than 300 brands, introducing sustainable, minimalist and creative design trends, affirming the leading position of Northern Europe.
Stockholm Design Fair 2025, taking place from 3 to 9 February at the Stockholmsmässan exhibition centre, once again reaffirms its position as the leading interior and lighting design event in the Nordic region.
With the participation of more than 300 designers and brands from all over the world, this year's fair not only brings creative products but also opens up a new perspective on the intersection between tradition and modernity in design.
The event was divided into two main parts: Stockholm Design Week from February 3 to 9 and Stockholm Furniture Show from February 4 to 8. Major brands such as Faye Toogood, Swedish Design Now, Misschiefs and Design Disruptor presented inspiring products that reflected the innovative spirit of Nordic design.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Thuy - Vietnam Trade Office in Sweden said that this year, the fair emphasizes trends shaping the global design industry.
"The first focus is sustainable, environmentally friendly materials. Wood, organic fibers, bamboo, recycled materials, and even biological materials from seaweed or mushrooms are widely used. Not only in interior design, these materials also appear in other fields such as fashion and gardening, showing their versatility and strong development potential," Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Thuy shared.
In addition, minimalist design continues to be the main highlight. Products aim for convenience and minimalist aesthetics, focusing on clean lines, eliminating unnecessary complex details. The main colors this year are neutral tones such as white, gray, beige and green, bringing a sense of closeness and relaxation.
Functionality is also emphasized in multi-functional and flexible furniture products. Designs such as smart desks, adjustable chairs or space-optimized storage solutions are highlights that impress visitors.
Technology also played a major role at the event. 3D printing technology enabled the creation of products with unique designs and high customization capabilities, while minimizing material waste. Meanwhile, combining 3D design with virtual reality (VR) allowed visitors to experience the living space realistically, assisting them in choosing products.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Thuy, the Stockholm Design Fair is not only a place to display products but also a forum connecting businesses and designers, promoting new creations and encouraging sustainable development.
“The event also helps domestic businesses find cooperation opportunities and update trends. This year's event, with its outstanding innovations, continues to affirm the importance of design in improving the quality of life and moving towards sustainable development,” said Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Thuy.
