As you know, Barcelona has just announced that they will part ways with coach Xavi after the end of this season. The two sides have agreed to terminate the contract one year ahead of schedule. Coach Xavi's future has been "spinning like a pinwheel" in recent times.

In January, the Spaniard announced that he would leave the club after the season. However, after being persuaded by the club's board, he confirmed that he would continue to stay at Barcelona in March.
But recently, after the match with Almeria, coach Xavi spoke out about the club's financial situation becoming more dire and it would be difficult to strengthen the squad for next season. That made President Joan Laporta angry. In the end, he decided to fire the Spanish strategist.
According to the contract terms, Barcelona will have to pay 20 million euros in compensation to coach Xavi. Of which, the Spanish strategist will receive 15 million euros, the rest will be divided among his assistants.
However, coach Xavi has made a noble gesture by refusing to accept compensation for his contract in the context of Barcelona's financial crisis. The coach born in 1980 has never hidden his love for Los Blaugrana and wants to support the club during difficult times.

Xavi confirmed that he respects President Laporta's decision and will always support Barcelona. He said: "I respect his decision. I will always be a fan of Barcelona. Now it is time for me to rest and listen to future offers."
After firing coach Xavi, Barcelona reached an agreement with coach Hansi Flick. Los Blaugrana is expected to announce the appointment of the German coach on May 27.
Coach Hansi Flick has brought pain to Barcelona in the past. In 2020, he and Bayern Munich defeated Barca 8-2 in the Champions League. He left Bayern Munich in 2021 and took charge of the German national team.
However, Hansi Flick has not been successful as the head coach of the national team. The German team was eliminated in the group stage of the 2022 World Cup. Since being fired in 2023, he has not found a new job.
