Thuy shared that living in Krong Bong district, Thuy witnessed many girls as young as 13, 14 years old getting married, and the family life of young couples being difficult and miserable. The situation of early marriage leads to many hidden consequences, so Thuy and Lau together carried out this project.
The project conducted a survey of 150 students at Krong Bong Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities. As a boarding school for ethnic minorities, the project helped raise awareness and communication capacity on sex education and adolescent reproductive health care among students at the school.
