Hanoi honors 32 outstanding young teachers at city level

Kinhtedothi - On November 6, the Hanoi City Youth Union - Vietnam Student Association held a conference to summarize the work of the Youth Union - Association and youth movement of the capital's schools in the 2023 - 2024 school year; to honor the titles of "Outstanding Young Teachers of the Capital" at the city level in 2024.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Secretary of the City Youth Union, Chairman of the Vietnam Student Association of Hanoi Nguyen Tien Hung said that in 2024, the youth of the capital with their youthfulness and enthusiasm will always be at the forefront of the movement, making efforts, determination, promoting the spirit of shock and creativity of the youth to excellently complete the assigned tasks, contributing to the development of the capital's youth volunteer movement.

Revolutionary action movements of school youth continue to be deployed evenly, clearly demonstrating the core role in all fields. The "Youth Volunteer" movement continues to be affirmed as the strength of the youth of the capital's school sector.

This year's volunteer activities continue to focus on implementing the "3 links" policy, which has been implemented clearly and effectively and achieved many practical results, bringing many sustainable and long-term values, recognized and highly appreciated by local people, authorities, communities and society.

Many volunteer activities have been creatively innovated in the implementation methods such as: "Red Flamboyant Flower" Campaign, "Green Summer" Campaign, "Exam Support" Program. These activities have left strong impressions and become the brand of students in the capital, and have been recognized and commended by the Central Youth Union - Central Vietnam Student Association, and the Ministry of Education and Training.

In addition, the Party development work has also been strongly implemented in this school year. Through campaigns, the Youth Union bases have discovered and trained outstanding members to introduce to the Party for admission. In particular, in this school year, the number of new Party members in the high school sector has increased sharply, accounting for nearly 47% of the total number of new Party members in the entire school sector.

Regarding some tasks in the 2024-2025 school year, Chairman of the Vietnam Student Association of Hanoi Nguyen Tien Hung said that the Youth Union and Association at all levels need to continue to research, be creative, actively, proactively, and pioneer in participating in the process of building a digital government and digital society; improve digital capacity for cadres, union members, youth, students in all fields.

Focus on promoting the role of young teachers and lecturers in guiding and supporting students' activities; continue to pay attention to and further promote school culture among students; create a healthy and friendly educational environment, say no to school violence, build a Happy School model...

On this occasion, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union awarded 1 emulation flag and excellent certificates of merit to 52 groups and 40 individuals in the high school sector; 7 emulation flags and excellent certificates of merit to 42 groups and 63 individuals in the university, college and academy sector.

The Hanoi Youth Union awarded excellent flags leading the emulation cluster to 12 units along with 177 collective certificates of merit and 205 individual certificates of merit to universities, colleges and academies; 17 units, 123 collective certificates of merit and 183 individual certificates of merit to high schools.

In addition, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association awarded flags to 7 outstanding units leading the emulation cluster, certificates of merit to 108 groups and 126 individuals. The Hanoi Student Association awarded 19 flags to outstanding units along with 117 collective certificates of merit and 129 individual certificates of merit.

In particular, in order to recognize and commend young teachers and lecturers who have achieved many outstanding achievements in the Youth Union, youth and student movements and have made contributions to teaching, the Hanoi Youth Union has honored and awarded the title of Outstanding Young Teacher at the city level in 2024 to 32 excellent young teachers from universities, colleges, academies and high schools in the city.
