According to the Office of the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Control and Search and Rescue of Hanoi City, during the third storm (typhoon Yagi), districts, towns and cities evacuated more than 78,000 people to avoid storms and floods.

Up to now, the floods on the Red River, Da River and Duong River have receded, so more than 48 thousand people have returned to their old residences, of which Bac Tu Liem district has 5,489 people, Tay Ho district has 20 thousand people, Hoan Kiem district has 4,379 people, Long Bien district has 1,055 people, Hai Ba Trung district has 1,198 people...

In Hanoi, there are still 30,536 people who had to evacuate to avoid flooding and have not returned to their old residence.

However, as of 7:00 p.m. on September 15, there were still 30,536 people in Hanoi who had to be evacuated to avoid flooding. Of these, Chuong My district had 9,000 people, My Duc district had 7,768 people, Soc Son district had 5,636 people, Ung Hoa district had 4,672 people, Dong Anh district had 1,234 people, Quoc Oai district had 1,129 people, etc.

The Office of the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Control and Search and Rescue of Hanoi City requested the People's Committees of districts, departments and branches to implement measures to overcome the consequences of natural disasters such as: environmental sanitation, pruning of broken and fallen trees, disease prevention after storms and floods, etc.

Typhoon Yagi and its circulation caused huge property damage in Hanoi, damaged infrastructure, felled tens of thousands of trees, caused flooding, polluted the environment, affected people's lives, and raised the risk of disease outbreaks.

Therefore, Hanoi City launched a movement for the whole population to participate in general environmental sanitation and overcome the consequences of storm No. 3, with the participation of city leaders, agencies, organizations and a large number of people.
