Also reducing the price, traders in Lao Cai are purchasing live pigs at 66,000 VND/kg, the lowest price in the region.

Latest live pig prices in the Central Highlands region
In this area, the price of live pigs today decreased slightly by 1,000 VND/kg within a narrow range and fluctuated between 62,000 - 68,000 VND/kg.
The highest price in the region of 68,000 VND/kg was recorded in Thanh Hoa and Nghe An.
After a reduction of 1,000 VND/kg, traders in Lam Dong are purchasing live pigs at 65,000 VND/kg.

On the other hand, the lowest price in the region at 62,000 VND/kg was recorded in Khanh Hoa, Binh Dinh, and Quang Tri provinces. Higher at 63,000 VND/kg was the purchase price recorded in Thua Thien Hue, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Dak Lak, and Ninh Thuan.
The remaining localities recorded live pig prices at 64,000 VND/kg.

In the Southern region, live pig prices decreased sporadically in some localities and fluctuated between 63,000 - 66,000 VND/kg.
Accordingly, the highest price in the region of 66,000 VND/kg was recorded in the provinces of Binh Duong, Long An, Dong Thap, and Ca Mau.

After reducing the price, traders in Vung Tau and Hau Giang are purchasing live pigs at 65,000 VND/kg, equal to those in Binh Phuoc, Ho Chi Minh City, Tay Ninh, An Giang, Can Tho, Kien Giang, and Soc Trang.
After a price reduction, traders in Bac Lieu are purchasing live pigs at 63,000 VND/kg, equal to Ben Tre. This is the lowest price in the region.
The remaining localities recorded a live pig price of 64,000 VND/kg.
In general, the price of live pigs decreased slightly by VND 1,000/kg in the three regions. Currently, the surveyed price in the provinces fluctuates between VND 62,000 - 68,000/kg.
