Discount on textbooks for the 2024-2025 school year

For reprinted textbooks (grades 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11), Vietnam Education Publishing House has reviewed related cost items, especially costs of organizing manuscripts and circulation costs to reduce textbook prices.

The new cover prices of reprinted textbooks applied from the 2024-2025 school year have been adjusted down compared to previous years. Specifically, the cover price of the textbook series Connecting Knowledge with Life has decreased by 9.6%, and the cover price of the textbook series Creative Horizon has decreased by 11.2%.

For textbooks for grades 5, 9, and 12 newly applied from the 2024-2025 school year, Vietnam Education Publishing House will set prices according to the reduced price structure of reprinted textbooks.

The new price list of textbooks will be fully and publicly posted at textbook sales points nationwide; on the general electronic information page of the Vietnam Education Publishing House (at www.nxbgd.vn) and on mass media as prescribed; ensuring accuracy, clarity, no confusion, convenient for customers to observe and recognize; protecting the rights of students and users.

For textbooks in storage, printed with old prices different from new prices, Vietnam Education Publishing House will stick new price labels on the 4th cover of the book so that students and teachers can easily recognize and avoid confusion.

Support students and teachers, ensure social security

It is known that this decision of the Vietnam Education Publishing House was made under the direction of the Ministry of Education and Training on strictly controlling production costs, reducing costs to reduce textbook prices, supporting consumers, and ensuring social security. This is also a policy according to the resolution of the Government and the National Assembly Standing Committee.

This is a great effort of the entire Vietnam Education Publishing House system to have the lowest textbook prices, with the goal of supporting students and teachers, ensuring social security.

The prices of textbooks for each grade have been declared by the Vietnam Education Publishing House to the Price Management Department of the Ministry of Finance in accordance with regulations.

During the textbook publishing period for the 2024-2025 school year, Vietnam Education Publishing House will continue to maintain a hotline (0344.181.018) operating from 8am to 10pm every day (including holidays) to support parents and students with issues related to textbooks.
