Awarding financial support to 20 high-quality journalistic works

(Baoquangngai.vn) - The Provincial Journalists Association awarded Certificates and funding to support high-quality press works in 2024 to recognize and honor authors and groups of authors who have produced high-quality press works, contributing to propaganda, information, and press work in the province.

On the afternoon of April 18, the Provincial Journalists Association organized the announcement of the decision and awarded support for high-quality press works in 2024. Attending the ceremony were Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department Bui Duc Tho; Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association Tran Cao Tanh; Vice Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association; Director of the Provincial Radio and Television Station Truong Quang Thu; Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Quang Ngai Newspaper Ha Hoang Trieu and authors and groups of authors with high-quality press works in 2024.

Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department Bui Duc Tho and Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association Tran Cao Tanh presented Certificates to authors and groups of authors whose works achieved category A.

At the ceremony, the Provincial Journalists Association announced the decision and awarded financial support for 20 press works in 2024, including 6 print works, 3 electronic newspapers, 6 television works, and 5 radio works.

Of which, there are 4 category A works belonging to author Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuan with the series of articles "Vitality from a resolution in Binh Son", the work "The successor of Ba Trao singing" by the group of authors Tran Thi Thanh Phuong, Trinh Thanh Nhan (Quang Ngai Newspaper); the work "Quang Ngai resolutely fights against IUU exploitation" by author Tran Quang Huy, the work "Many creative ways in Party building" by author Tran Thi Minh Hien (Provincial Radio and Television Station) and 8 category B works, 8 category C works. The total support fund is 96 million VND.

Leaders of the Provincial Journalists Association awarded Certificates to authors and groups of authors whose works achieved category B.

Authors and groups of authors whose works achieve category C will be awarded a Certificate.

Quang Ngai Newspaper alone has 8 works accepted and supported with funding, including 2 type A works, 4 type B works and 2 type C works.
