On April 18, Nghia Tru commune (Van Giang) held a ceremony to receive the certificate of recognition for meeting the new rural model standards in 2024. Attending the ceremony were comrades: Nguyen Hung Nam, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for the implementation of the provincial national target programs; Le Van Hung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Van Giang District Party Committee.
After more than 14 years of efforts to implement the National Target Program on New Rural Construction, Nghia Tru commune has made a clear change: Rural infrastructure has been invested synchronously; average income per capita reached more than 83 million VND/person/year; the commune has no more poor households; cultural and spiritual life has been increasingly improved.
As one of the key communes for urban development in Van Giang district, Nghia Tru commune was selected to build a model new-style rural commune with the prominent criterion being education. Up to now, the commune has 2 schools meeting level 2 infrastructure standards, meeting universal education standards at all levels. Along with synchronous investment in infrastructure, the commune focuses on improving the quality of the teaching staff and the effectiveness of teaching, creating a solid foundation for the career of "growing people". With the results in building a model new rural area, Nghia Tru commune is The Provincial People's Committee recognized the model new rural area in 2024 in education .
At the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hung Nam awarded the Certificate of recognition for achieving model new-style rural standards in education in 2024 to the Party Committee, government and people of Nghia Tru commune.
