The Match project was established with the aim of supporting students and their parents during the difficult transitional exam period. The members of The Match are all students from specialized high schools. They themselves have experienced the challenging exam and understand the pressure that 9th graders are facing.
The special feature of "The Match" is that it not only teaches knowledge but also shares experiences, provides psychological advice and guides effective learning methods. During its operation, the project has organized many free online classes, consultation and exchange sessions, helping 9th grade students prepare well for the exam.
The process of preparing for the 10th grade entrance exam of Ha Le Van Anh (student of Nguyen Tat Thanh Secondary and High School), Head of the Communications Department of season 7 of "The Match", also encountered many difficulties. Van Anh was hesitant in choosing a school and struggled to determine the appropriate study method, which led to her initial poor results.
"To overcome those obstacles, I sought help from my seniors, who gave me a lot of useful advice that was suitable for my abilities. During the exam preparation period, my family accompanied me both psychologically and in terms of study orientation. Thanks to my seniors, I learned and applied effective exam preparation methods. I think this is also the reason why I decided to try my hand with The Match to support students to pass the exam," Van Anh shared.
With the Nhat Hong event recently organized by "The Match" for students born in 2010, according to Van Anh, members of the project not only share knowledge but also research and update circulars of the Ministry of Education and Training on the 10th grade entrance exam to provide practical and accurate advice for students.
"Wokshop Nhat Hong is not simply a consultation session but a time for students to be inspired and steadfast on the race to the finish line. Here, I had the chance to talk to many 9th graders. Each of them has their own goals and a dream school. What impressed me was that despite facing a lot of pressure and anxiety, they all participated in the activities happily. For 9th graders, as long as they are brave and strong enough to overcome this stressful period, they will have meaningful high school years ahead. If they have any concerns or difficulties, "The Match" is always ready to listen and share," said Van Anh.
Tran Vien Nhu (Nguyen Tat Thanh Secondary and High School), deputy organizer of "The Match" season 7, said that thanks to "The Match", Vien Nhu learned and applied effective exam preparation methods. "The Match taught me how to work professionally, leadership skills, especially how to share experiences and knowledge with students. As a senior, I hope that 9th grade students will find a way to study and a direction that suits them. If they are still wondering, struggling or need help, The Match will always be ready to support them to achieve their dreams and goals," Vien Nhu said.
