As of 12 noon on February 5, the price of SJC gold bars was listed on the homepage of Saigon Jewelry Company SJC at 88-91 million VND/tael (buy - sell). The difference between buying and selling prices at this company is about 3 million VND/tael.
The price of SJC gold bars listed by DOJI Group is around 87.6-90.1 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
In the Gold Price Forum group today, there are many posts, posted continuously, close together with the same content of selling gold.

At the "Gold Exchange and Trading" group, an account Th. H. posted: "I have more than 30 BTMC taels as shown in the photo below. In Bach Mai, Hanoi, I need to sell them. If anyone wants to buy them, I'll ask for 90."
Surprisingly, just 1 hour after posting, the author announced "sold".

Sell at the average gold price in the store, saving the difference between buying and selling
Talking to Tuoi Tre Online , Ms. H. (living in Hanoi) said that seeing the high price of gold, she wanted to sell 40 taels of gold bars that she currently has. This amount of gold was purchased many years ago, through many times, the price fluctuated from over 60 to under 82 million VND/tael.
According to Ms. H., she does not sell gold at stores because the difference between the selling and buying prices at stores is very high. There is a place Ms. H. knows but the difference is up to 3.3 million VND/tael.
"On the day of God of Wealth, there were many buyers. Seeing the price of gold increase, some people intended to buy. I sold to make a profit," Ms. H. shared.
Sold freely and transferred by hand, there is almost no fixed price. According to observations, the price of gold that people set when selling and transferring names is posted on online groups at about 89 million VND/tael.
According to Ms. Th. (a gold seller), the price of 89.2 million VND/tael that she gave was based on the average of the buying and selling prices at major gold shops. Compared to the selling price of gold bars at SJC (about 91 million VND/tael), the buyer still makes a profit.
"The reason we want to resell is that people also want to buy resale, it saves a few cents compared to the price of other stores, but the quality is not much different," said Ms. Th.
