(GLO)- Gia Lai Plateau was quickly filled with a vibrant and exciting atmosphere on the first day of the National Day holiday on September 2 this year. With the mild, cool weather, people have planned for a long holiday.

The National Day holiday of September 2, 2024 has officially begun. On August 31, people of the mountainous town of Pleiku and tourists from other provinces and cities flocked to tourist destinations, entertainment areas and cafes in the area, creating a bustling and excited atmosphere.

Located next to the mountain town of Pleiku, the hundred-year-old pine road (Nghia Hung commune, Chu Pah district) is covered with shade from ancient pine trees. On the occasion of National Day September 2 this year, it is interspersed with bright red flags with yellow stars, making the space more solemn. On this occasion, almost all visitors to Pleiku spend time visiting the hundred-year-old pine road because of its magical attraction.

And Mr. Tran Hoang Long (Tan Binh Ward, Thu Duc District, Ho Chi Minh City) also chose Pleiku as a destination on his journey to discover the identity of the Central Highlands. He shared: “This is the first time my girlfriend and I have set foot in the mountain town of Pleiku. Through information on social networks, I have chosen tourist attractions in the area near Pleiku City such as: Bien Ho, suspension bridge, Bien Ho tea, hundred-year-old pine trees, etc. When I set foot on this hundred-year-old pine road, I was quite surprised and felt proud when the two sides of the road were filled with red flags with yellow stars standing out among the green pine trees. The cool weather and the bustling atmosphere made me feel that Gia Lai not only has natural beauty but also the patriotism of the people here.”

According to the reporter of Gia Lai Electronic Newspaper, although it was past noon, the flow of visitors coming to enjoy and take pictures on the hundred-year-old pine tree road was still increasing. Some families also took advantage of the holiday to bring their children to experience, creating a comfortable atmosphere for them before the new school year.

Also on the first day of the holiday, Bien Ho Eco-tourism Area (Pleiku City) welcomed a large number of visitors. Many out-of-town tourists chose this as a stop for lunch with homemade specialties. For example, the family of Ms. Y Song (Plei Ro 2, Le Loi Ward, Kon Tum City) chose Pleiku City as a tourist destination during the September 2 holiday.

Ms. Song excitedly said: “Every holiday, my family chooses a famous place in neighboring provinces to take our children to experience. Today, my family went to Dong Xanh Park, then to Dien Hong Park for sightseeing, but because the park is being repaired and upgraded, the whole family decided to move to Bien Ho Lake to visit and stop for lunch here because the air here is cool.

Since 2017, my family has returned to Bien Ho. Everything has changed a lot. Now the landscape and facilities at this campus are more spacious and beautiful. The holiday atmosphere here is quite bustling.

In addition to tourist attractions, local entertainment complexes also attracted many children on the first day of the holiday. Mr. Tran Manh Ha, owner of the Happy Kids entertainment complex (Le Quy Don Street, Pleiku City) excitedly shared: “In the spirit of the holiday across the country, on the first day, the number of tickets sold by the unit increased by more than 50% compared to normal days. Not only people in Pleiku City brought their children to play, but many parents in neighboring localities also came here to let their children play freely. In order to serve the children attentively and quickly, our unit has also added more staff, from 8 to 12 people.”

At the same time, according to the reporter's records, at the coffee shops along To Vinh Dien, Bui Dinh Tuy, Le Loi, Hung Vuong, Nguyen Tat Thanh streets, the Bo Ke area,.... with open space and a view of the hills and mountains are the destinations of many young people, students, and people far from Gia Lai returning to enjoy the fresh air during the long holiday.
